Second edition of Design Edge catalogue goes live as online service.

The second edition of the Design Edge catalogue, a free service for trade buyers that profiles the UK’s top designer-makers, has gone live as an online service.

Design Edge owns the rights to the prestigious British Craft Trade Fair, which takes place each year in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

The catalogue has been specifically designed with simplicity and clarity in mind, with the aim of making the site easy to search and navigate. Each maker has an individual page and images can be enlarged with a click.

BCTF and Design Edge co-owner and organiser Margeret Bunn said: “Last year we set out to break the mould when it comes to website presentation, and this has been achieved by creating very individual pages for each maker with the emphasis on imagery.”

The Design Edge catalogue will be available as a free service to trade buyers until the end of February 2011, with new pages being added to the site all the time.
