Founder closes store to launch site; creates bespoke bridal pieces.
Jeweller designer Holly Hill has launched a website for her jewellery and accessories collections, titled Heather & Grace, following the closure of her gift shop.
The new site is a fresh direction for Hill after the closure of the Heather & Grace gift shop in Bristol. Hill had been working with a number of independent giftware designers but, having struggled to find jewellery to feature on the new site, opted to create her own collection.
She has now joined forces with stylist Cheryl Curtis to create a number of bridal jewellery designs. Her jewellery is set to be featured in a number of national publications later this year. Items made for Curtis include vintage-inspired lace chokers, edgier gothic necklaces and delicate multi strand necklaces and pearl bracelets.
Hill said: "I am really excited about this new step for Heather & Grace. I love jewellery and I’m obsessed with how people wear it. I feel that everyone should have interesting pieces to wear and accessorising can really change the way an outfit looks, plus it really doesn’t need to cost a fortune. My jewellery lines aim to inspire people to try something different and embrace how effective jewellery can be."
At present Hill is hand-making her work to order and plans to add new products on a regular basis. She will launch a range of personalised and engraveable products in January 2014.
