Alain Mouawad extends collection with women?s jewellery timepiece.
Blacksand, the watch brand founded by Alain Mouawad and unveiled at BaselWorld earlier this year, has released a new addition to its Uniformity collection with a bejewelled women’s timepiece.
The Uniformity Joaillerie is a rose gold timepiece set with 276 D colour, VVs quality diamonds weighing a total 3.60cts. The lugs overlapping the case encrusted with diamonds, covering the distinctively curved rose gold case housing Blacksand’s in-house movement.
Coming from a family of watchmakers, Mouawad chose to continue tradition and, as an avid watch collector, decided to shake things up with his own watch company.
He launched Blacksand with the original Uniformity watch in March this year, having begun its development in August 2010. The original timepiece is crafted in titanium with elements of pink gold and is also available in solid pink gold.
Both the Uniformity Joaillerie and the original Uniformity have purple stitching and details, which is part of Blacksand’s branding. Details include superluminova numbers and a choice of rubber or purple alligator straps.
