Dior has announced Emmy-nominated actress, Emilia Clarke, as the new face of its Rose des Vents jewellery collection.
Clarke, best recognised as the face of Daenerys Targaryen from Games of Thrones, can be seen wearing the collections newest additions set to drop into stores at the end of this month.
This collaboration marks the first time Clarke has worked with a luxury brand.
The new campaign was short by French fashion and portrait photographer, Patrick Demarchelier, who captures Clarke’s timeless beauty to reflect the Rose des Vents collection of fine pieces.
The collection includes long and short necklaces crafted in yellow and rose gold and adorned in diamonds, white mother of pearl and pink opals. The range broadens the horizons of Dior’s medallion jewel.
Victoire de Castellane, creative director of Dior Joaillerie, says: “Rose des Vents, the wind rose, is all a metaphor for creation. Creating is about searing, turning things over, and then finding ones cardinal point and setting off on a journey. Creation is the product of a stationary voyage.”
