Oldham-based Alexander adds Dutch brand to its contemporary line up.

Netherlands-based jewellery brand Zinzi has created its first shop-in-shop concession within Oldham-based jeweller, Alexander.

The jeweller, which has already embraced brands including Thomas Sabo, Ti Sento and Pandora, took on Zinzi after being introduced to the jewellery by wholesaler Darren McCormick Jewellery (DMJ) at International Jewellery London.

Alexander installed the shop-in-shop for Zinzi, and is promoting the brand it via the fast-growing Alexander Jewellery web site.

Zinzi is one of the biggest silver jewellery brands in the Netherlands and was brought to the UK in summer of 2011 by DMJ. Its first public unveiling was at IJL in September.

“I am ecstatic about the rate of Zinzi’s success just weeks after the brand’s launch at IJL. What’s even better is that the shop-in-shop is in a unique, local, brand-driven store such as Alexander’s,” said Darren McCormick.

Zinzi is a contemporary brand that works with several leading European designers on collections that encompass customisable charm-based jewellery in silver and semi-precious stones.
