Domino set for growth with European sales manager

Brand appoints French and German speaking manager Laurent Nicollier.

Birmingham-based jewellery company Domino has announced the appointment of Laurent Nicollier as sales manager for Europe, with the aim of growing the wedding and engagement ring company in France and other international markets.

Nicollier has more than 12 years fine jewellery experience having worked for a number of large French businesses. In his most recent position Nicollier oversaw a company’s strategic business unit operating mainly in Europe and Japan.

Domino’s managing director Andrew Morton said of Nicollier’s appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Laurent to Domino. He has a strong understanding of the industry and has particular expertise in design, sales and marketing.

“He also has excellent contacts with European retailers. We had a very successful fair at this year’s Basel with strong interest being expressed in our ranges by jewellers across the EU and we are confident that Laurent’s expertise will help us to grow further what is already an expanding market for us.”

Nicollie speaks fluent English and French as well as basic German and “a sprinkling” of Mandarin. He said: “Domino has much to offer the European jewellery retailer and I am looking forward to introducing its extensive and creative product range to those who are currently unaware of the brand and to developing links with existing stockists.”
