Domino to make platinum push with new Basel stand

Sneak peek of new ring mounts alongside fresh fashion-led fine jewels.

Domino is set to return to BaselWorld for the third consecutive year with a new stand position in Hall 2 and heavy focus on its platinum products.

The company has redesigned its Basel stand for 2013, and says it will now be situated in a a much more prominent position in Hall 2.

Domino will use the show to promote its platinum jewellery range as "amongst the most extensive available from a European producer".

The company will offer visitors a sneak peek of new designs from its Diamond Ring Mount (DRM) range, which is not due to launch until later in the year, including five- and seven-stone rings, eternity rings and more contemporary shank and setting designs.

Domino will also showcase jewellery from its diamond Rosabella collection of necklaces, wristwear and earrings, and its Sienna range of coloured gemstone and pave rings.

Domino sales and marketing director, Andrew Sollitt, said: “We are much looking forward to Basel and to showing our international and British customers the many new designs we have added to our core collections, most especially those in platinum, since last year’s show.

“We sincerely believe that Domino now offers the most comprehensive selection of platinum findings and ring mounts of any company that will be exhibiting at the show and are proud to be part of what we perceive to be a real renaissance in British jewellery production."

The company will also showcase wedding rings in plain styles and diamond- and black sapphire-set designs in a number of profiles and in both platinum and various gold alloys.
