Company to overhaul No.1 King Street store into Pandora concept offer.
Drakes Group has unveiled plans to transform its multi-brand jewellery store No.1 King Street in Truro into a new Pandora concept store.
No.1 King Street will close on Saturday April 25 and will reopen as a Pandora store on Thursday May 28. The shop will offer more extensive Pandora collections, in a contemporary environment with new furniture and styling.
No.1 King Street opened in 2008 as a standalone Swarovski store before being converted into a multi-brand offer with Pandora in 2009. Since this point the store has continuned to grow.
Drakes Group director, Monique Hirshman, said: “We are so excited about this new development and can’t wait to share the new Pandora store with everyone. It’s going to be something special. We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and can’t wait to hear their feedback.”
No.1 King Street’s more extensive offer of branded jewellery and watches will be transferred to the company’s sister-store, Drakes, in Plymouth.
Situated in Drake Circus Shopping Centre, the new retail space has two distinctive areas; a branded boutique offering collections from Swarovski, Thomas Sabo, Michael Kors among others, and a dedicated diamond and bridal jewellery lounge.
Customers will be able to use their existing gift cards at the sister store as well as Pandora, Truro.
