Emblematic Camilla brooch designed by 1849 Goldsmith from Whitefield.
A historic Manchester bespoke jewellery designer was honoured by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on a visit this week to the set of Coronation Street.
Keith Simpson, the owner of 1849 Goldmiths, created a one-off brooch for the visit, which features three flying ducks in honour of the three ducks that adorned the walls of Hilda Ogden.
It was presented to the Duchess by ITV, which is celebrating 50 years of Coronation Street this year.
1849 Goldsmiths was established in Whitefield to the north of Manchester twenty years ago. The company offers a full range of jewellery services, from a simple repair to the design and creation of one-off pieces.
