Emerging jewellers head to Holland jewellery show

Chroma Jewellery Collective seeking international gallery stockists.

A group of young designers is set to showcase colourful contemporary jewellery at an international art fair in Amsterdam.

Chroma Jewellery Collective, a group of four emerging designers that work to create bright collections featuring plays of colour, said they hope the show will provide them with new contacts and stockists overseas.

The four designers – Amy Logan, Amanda Trimmer, Ruth Laird and Lana Crabb – will take part in Amsterdam’s SIERAAD Art Fair in November, the first time the group has exhibited abroad.

Chroma Jewellery Collective said they hope the opportunity will enable them to reach audiences in Europe and that the show should bring not only sales but new contacts at important galleries that they may not have the chance to meet at a UK show.

Amy Logan, whose designs includes powder coated colourful wire jewellery, said: "This is an exciting step for us, so far we have only shown our work here in the UK and we hope that expanding our focus into Europe can only be a good thing."
