CW Sellors’ collection of branded W Hamond Whitby Jet jewellery is set to be supplied to English Heritage, to be sold through its website and store locations in Yorkshire and the Isle of Wight.

The hand-made collection of Whitby Jet and sterling silver jewellery will be sold at Whitby Abbey, as well as Queen Victoria’s country retreat.

The W Hamond brand says its patriotic values and product stand in line with those of English Heritage, which champions the protection and promotion of England’s historic environment.

W Hamond’s sales manager Andrew Mills said: “It is fantastic that we are able to work alongside this prestigious association and supply them with our unique British product.

“It is vital that we hand-selected the pieces which appeal to English Heritage’s customer base and we are currently working on other projects with them to progress this relationship forward.”

English Heritage’s buyer, Stella Barritt says that CW Sellors stood out when she visited IJL in September.

“CW Sellors are still designing and manufacturing in the UK which is becoming increasingly rare these days. The fact that they use indigenous British gemstones, and this combined with great craftsmanship is a winning combination,” explained Barritt.
