In The Pink relocates to capture lucrative retail opportunity

Independent jewellery retailer In The Pink has relocated its Grimsby store to a position with high footfall.

Following a year if tough trading, the jewellery retailer has moved the store and given it a modern makeover.

Still remaining in Freshney Place Shopping Centre, Grimsby, In The Pink can now be found next to Boots, near Monsoon and other national retailers which attract consumers.

“We negotiated with the landlord from some time to find the right location at the right price,” shares In The Pink managing director, Karen Webb-Meek. “We are now delighted with our new location.”

“We are now determined to forge forward and increase our sales in our new location,” continues Webb-Meek.

The new unit is smaller than In The Pinks’ last space, but the jeweller partnered with Refined Shopfitters to optimise the space.

Previously working for Harrods and Cartier, Refined Shopfitters transformed the space from a dark unit to a bright new jewellery store in just seven days.

The refurbished store features granite floors, bright new ceilings, lights, new bespoke display cabinets and striking window displays.

Looking ahead, In The Pink is working with a business coach to help grow the company.

“Trading in retail is tougher than it has ever been, it’s vital that retailers like us, optimise their presence on all social media platforms as well as have a transactional website if we don’t want to get left behind. We are also working with an amazing business coach, John Mchale From Action Coach, a global business coaching franchise that helps businesses large and small become more efficient and grow. I have to say, I’m impressed so far, and I have learned more in the last three months than I have in the previous 17 years,” says Webb-Meek.

The In The Pink team have high hopes for 2018, with more initiatives in the pipeline to help boost business.
