F Hinds capitalises on advent calendar craze with charming consumer offering

Award-winning high street jeweller, F Hinds, has jumped on the advent calendar bandwagon this year as looks to bolster business during the lucrative season.

Professional Jeweller’s Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year has responded to the growing trend for consumers to countdown to Christmas with a product rather than chocolate calendar with a charm-focused offer.

During December, consumers can build a charm bracelet with F. Hinds’ advent calendar that includes a contemporary snake chain bracelet and necklace, alongside 23 slider bead charms.

Charm designs vary from festive motifs, the classic hearts, popular creatures, and personal additions.

While Liverpool-based independent jeweller, Say It With Diamonds, and Thomas Sabo have launched advent calendars this year, F Hinds is the first high street jeweller to release one.

Sales Development Director at F.Hinds, Jeremy Hinds, shares: “Every year, children countdown to Christmas day with a chocolate calendar, but this doesn’t always appeal to adults. Cosmetics brands have released adult advent calendars in recent years, and even gin and tonic lovers can countdown with Fever-Tree’s new release. This year, we wanted to introduce an advent calendar that appeals to both younger jewellery lovers and adults.

“Our new jewellery advent calendar is really exciting. It contains charms that are both Christmassy and celebratory, so charms can be worn all-year round for any special occasion.”

The calendar retails at £49.95, but currently is on offer for £24.95.
