High jewellery brand to sell through Ritz Hotel on Place Vendome.
Fabergé is set to open a pop-up store during Paris Fashion Week within the much-celebrated Ritz Hotel on Paris’ famous Place Vendome.
The pop-up store will showcase Fabergé’s high jewellery collections, including its recent launch of Couture Egg pendants, Les Fameux de Fabergé.
The boutique will open on September 30th and will welcome shoppers until October 4th. The venture follows July’s successful launch the fine jewellery brand’s new collection at Paris Haute Couture Week, when the Iconic Fabergé egg was relaunched for the first time in nearly 100 years.
Fabergé attended this year’s BaselWorld where it showcased several one-off designs, including its revered Les Fauves showed off sparkling couture jewellery, taking inspiration from Russian painting, literature, music and ballet, inspired by the work of Diaghilev – with whom Carl Fabergé was acquainted – Stravinsky, Nijinsky, Malevich and Kandinsky and Matisse.
It is said that Ballet Russes dancers were regularly gifted Fabergé jewellery by admirers, and often danced on stage wearing Faberge diamond-set tiaras. Les Fauves collection is, as a result, a fluid collection taking the colours and shapes of the ballet and artistic movements of the early 1900s.
