Distributor thanks retailers and Trollbeads for assistance.

Trollbeads UK and Ireland distributor Fable Trading has donated more than £70,000 to Cancer Research UK, which it has raised throughout the year.

The company has raised £71,862 with the support of Trollbeads in Denmark and Trollbeads retailers throughout the UK. Trollbeads chief executive Peter Aagaard and Fable Trading director Sarah Morfoot presented a cheque to Alexis Woodward, area volunteer manager for Cancer Research UK in Bristol last month.

Fable Trading said that the majority of the money was raised through sales of its Empowerment Beads, with some funds from sales of the Pink Ribbon and Turquoise Ribbon beads. The distributor first pledged its support to Cancer Research UK back in 2007 when the company dedicated money raised from sales of Trollbeads Rose Ribbon and Turquoise Ribbon beads to Cancer Research UK.

Morfoot said: “We would like to thank all our retailers in the UK for their support and Trollbeads in Denmark too. We are proud to have raised so much money for such an important cause. It’s a genuine opportunity for everyone to share the beads’ message of love and support for the thousands of people whose lives have been touched by cancer.”
