Farah Qureshi joins StudioNorth for Christmas

Precious metal designer joins four other jewellers in North London

Jewellery designer Farah Qureshi has recently joined StudioNorth in Highbury and Islington.

Qureshi’s precious metal collections are primarily inspired by the world around her depicting plants, leaves and flowers. Other pieces draw from the likes of the writings in Asian cultures but all are simple and elegant.

Her addition to the collective sees her join the likes of fellow jewellery makers Frances Wadsworth-Jones, Norma Gaytan and Kathryn Hinton as well as web designers and design builders in the creative enterprise space.

The premises – a former off-licence – have been purpose designed to link exhibition space with making space and designing space. It also utilises its own shop-front gallery, workshop, meeting room and offices.

This Christmas the gallery is being used exclusively to display the works of the jewellers with baubles which encapsulate the separate pieces. The exhibition continues until December 23 and is open every day except Sundays.

StudioNorth is located at: 227, New North Road, Highbury, N1 7AA.
