The British jeweller winning the hearts of fashionistas worldwide.
Dominic Jones has been the jewellery darling of the global fashion press ever since the British designer was hand-picked from obscurity by legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour and thus his star was set into ascendancy.
Jones participates in fashion events, such as London Fashion Week, but makes a conscious effort to separate himself from the jewellery industry, preferring to align himself with the fashion pack as an accessories designer rather than a jeweller.
His jewellery and branding style could easily sit alongside the likes of Shaun Leane and Stephen Webster, but that is not the direction in which his brand appears to be going.
One thing he does have in common with Webster, however, is an ability to build a global market for his jewellery that is stronger than his domestic one.
While in the UK he is represented by fashion houses Harvey Nichols, Joseph, Liberty and Net-a-Porter, he has racked up 18 international stockists since his launch in 2009 in locations including Australia, Taiwan, the US and the UAE.
