Darren McCormick Jewellery has added Dutch brand Nikki Lissoni to its wholesale line up for the coming season.

The emerging brand has created a range of customisable necklaces where an open locket allows the wearer to change ‘medallions’ created in silver-, gold- or rose gold-plate.

A growing range of medallion designs are based on Nikki Lissoni’s passion for nature, flowers and Hispanic iconography.

Jewellers should be attracted to the collectable nature of the medallions once the pendants are sold; plus, today’s fashion for wearing several necklaces at the same time could deliver considerable repeat business for stockists.

Average retail price points start at £85.

DMJ owner, Darren McCormick, says that the medallion trend is spreading across Continental Europe, and he believes will be the next big thing in the UK. “We spent a lot of time and did a lot of research to find a brand such as Nikki Lissoni. We always aim to find the next key trend, and with Nikki Lissoni’s success in Europe, we see no reason why a brand with such quality, craftsmanship and design will not be even more popular in the UK,” he told Professional Jeweller.
