Shop in Sheffield’s indie shopping quarter will have mix of designers.

Jessica Flinn has announced plans to open a jewellery boutique in her hometown of Sheffield, housing her full collection and work from a selection of other designers.

The young designer and Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012 NexGem is set to open the shop on November 15, located on Sharrow Vale Road, in Sheffield’s independent shopping quarter.

The shop opening follows a bumper year for Flinn during which she has launched her first fine jewellery collection, scooped the Duke of York Award entrepreneurial award and has appeared at a number of trade shows. She was also recently named a finalist in the NatWest Everywoman Awards, in the businesswoman under 25 category.

Flinn’s boutique will stock the full range of products from her three ranges – Jessica Flinn Designs, Little Flinn and Green & Lister. She will also use the space to officially launch a bespoke wedding and engagement ring service, creating individual and unique pieces on a strictly one off basis.

Flinn said: “Even though all my work is available on line and at independent stores throughout the country, increasingly I find people asking me where they can buy my jewellery in person so it’s a great pleasure to be able to announce the launch of my first shop, right here in my home city.

“All my work is designed and hand finished in Sheffield so it seemed absolutely right that my first boutique should be here too."

The Jessica Flinn Designs store will also stock a full range of pieces from other British designers, including Myia Bonner, Clarice Price Thomas, Claire Throughton and Lucy Q.

“I want my boutique to be not only a great showcase for my own work but also bring to South Yorkshire many of the other great names in British jewellery design today,” Flinn added.
