Wear It Out to open in east London jewellery store.
Four emerging jewellery talents are joining forces for a showcase of contemporary jewellery in east London.
Mabel Hasell, Rose Ellen Cobb, Daphne Krinos and Petra Bishai will sell their work at jewellery store Number Ninety Four on Columbia Road. The show, titled Wear It Out, aims to promote jewellery that be bought and worn daily.
A statement from the group said: "Wear It Out brings together a collection of unique wearable jewellery pieces that you’ll want to wear forever.
"This is the first group show from four distinct designers who jointly complement each other with beautifully designed and accomplished work".
Mabel Hasell’s work features rings and pendants with bright gemstones that appear to jut out of the metal at interesting angles, while Rose Ellen Cobb delicately combines porcelain, bone china and precious metals with vintage materials.
Daphne Krinos teams unusual cuts of gems with silver and recycled gold. Petra Bishai has taken London life as inspiration, transforming everyday objects into jewellery with an edge.
The Wear it Out showcase will open at Number Ninety Four on May 9, closing on June 30.
