One man to appear in court today after raid Waltham Cross retailer.
Four men have been arrested in connection with a jewellery robbery at Wallen Jewellers in Waltham Cross last week.
The theft took place at Wallen Jewellers on the High Street at 5.05pm .Three men, all between the ages of 18 and 23, were arrested the same afternoon and released on bail to return in July.
One man, Emi Rali Ockay, 18, has been charged with burglary and criminal damage. He attended Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on May 22, but was remanded into custody and will appearing at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court later today. All four men lived in the local area.
A police spokeswoman said "a significant sum was stolen", but that jewellery robberies were not a regular occurrence in the area.
