Vintage inspirations and statement jewellery lead collections.

Gecko Jewellery has launched its Elements 2011 collection of bridal jewellery, which it will showcase at The Jewellery Show in Birmingham next month.

Designed for brides who want their wedding looks to make an impact, the bold, statement jewellery aims to set the trend for the year ahead. Key statement pieces feature vintage-inspired jewellery sets and fresh water pearl lines, while chandelier crystal earrings and matching pendants give that touch of classic Hollywood glamour to the wedding occasion.

The string of pearls has been given a modern twist with silver charm carriers, so the couple’s intimate memories can be represented by a choice of charms. The Elements Silver geometric bib necklace has cubic zirconia and fresh water pearl drops, while the Orbital shaped jewellery set features abstract cuff bangles and over-sized pendants that are designed to make an impact.

Gecko said that the breadth of the collection ensures that there is a piece of jewellery suitable for every bride, from the purist to the progressive.

The company has also unveiled the D for Diamonds 2011 range, which is a wedding range designed especially for the flower girls and boys. Featuring a range of pendants, bracelets and cufflinks, these are also intended to become mementos of the wedding day. Each piece features a genuine diamond and the collection comes with co-ordinated gift tags and boxes.
