Leading jewellery supplier Gecko has placed its brand Beginnings on the boulevard section of the stand to showcase to visitors the significance of the sterling silver range.
While Gecko always has a stand on the Jewellery & Watch boulevard, usually the space facing the centre aisle highlights a variety of the supplier’s many brands.
At this show however, Gecko made the decision to only place Beginnings in the significant post. Creative director, Desiree Pringle, told Professional Jeweller, that the company really wanted to make a stand with the Beginnings brand this year as 320 new designs had been added at the show.
New designs reflect a rejuvenated Beginnings. Due to popular demand for heavier weight silver items, the design team has been able to elevate the fashion ability of the offering with different textures, semi precious stones, charming sets and engravable pieces.
Pringle explains that the focus for Gecko at Jewelery & Watch is silver this year. With four sterling silver brands, the design team has worked hard to create a range of jewellery brands, which all tell their own story.
For Elements silver the supplier has added a lot more details to the designs and created pieces, which aim to attract the bridal market. Elsewhere D for Diamond has been revamped to target the baby show market.
