Gecko to refresh Fred Bennett branding

Manufacturer also celebrating first anniversary of WB Group takeover.

Gecko is planning to give its Fred Bennett men’s jewellery brand a refresh this year, launching a dedicated website for the collection and Gecko children’s brand D for Diamond.

The company is also celebrating its first anniversary as part of WB the Creative Jewellery Group, marking a year since WB Group acquired the multi-brand jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler.

Speaking on the achievement of this first milestone, co-head of design Vicky Leyshon said: ‘We have now fully set the foundations for growth, not only a big move of our studios from central London to Hatton Garden premises, but also our new B2B transactional website, which has radicalised the way our retailers can now shop with us."

Alongside the brand refresh, Fred Bennett will also launch a new campaign for 2013 and a dedicated website. A website will also be created for D for Diamonds. 

WB the Creative Jewellery Group’s managing director Andrew Morton said: "It has been a very successful and busy first year for us all at Gecko, we have a passionate and inspired team here that I am certain will go on to deliver some exciting new projects next year and after."
