Goldsmiths goes ruggers with Leicester Tigers

Aurum Holdings announces partnership deal with the Rugby Union Club.

The UK’s largest prestige and luxury jeweller, Aurum Holdings, has announced a partnership deal with Rugby Union Club Leicester Tigers.

The three year sponsorship deal will see its company Goldsmiths become an official sponsor timekeeper of the Leicester Tigers.

The East Stand at the club’s Welford Road home ground will be renamed ‘The Goldsmiths Stand,’ with exclusive rights for the branding of Goldsmiths.

With nine Premiership titles to its name, Leicester Tigers is England’s most success rugby club.

Leicester Tigers chairman Peter Tom said: “We are proud to have secured Aurum’s support for the club. This will be a strong partnership between two powerful national brands with deep local roots in Leicestershire. Both the Tigers and Goldsmiths have a broad national appeal and we share many of the same core values, which makes us natural partners. We look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

As part of the deal, Goldsmiths will also sponsor the ‘Player of The Month’ and have regular advertisements in the match day programmes and tickets. Furthermore, showcase events will be held in conjunction with Leicester Tigers, as well as special player appearances.

This partnership will continue to strengthen the exposure of the Goldsmiths brand and particularly raise awareness on a national level, but just as much, support the local community.
