Green + Benz has opened the doors to a newly relocated store in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
In December award winning gemologist Helen Dimmick opened a new Green + Benz jewellery store in the heart of Chesterfield’s town centre.
Dimmick comments: “The opportunity was too good to miss. Positioned alongside the vibrant market square and at the end of bustling Vicar Lane, this new location allows us to deliver significantly more choice and experience to our customers. For instance, alongside key brands such as Swarovski, Thomas Sabo and Links of London, we can include a wider range of designer and fashion brands. And an exciting new addition to our watch offering is the luxury Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer.”
As an expert gemologist and diamond grader, Green + Benz managing director, Helen Dimmick offers diamond brands such as Henrich + Denzel, Niessing and Mastercut. This new location has given Dimmick the opportunity to provide the space to accommodate an open shop floor, a luxurious private viewing room and all the add-on services necessary for an exceptional ‘service focused’ sales experience.
Securing a prime location for this next step in the Green + Benz story was important for the jewellery retailer, as was finding the right retail design team to work with. “Innovare Design came highly recommended,” Dimmick explains. “We’ve really benefited from their expertise and creativity, together with the experience and incredible support from Alan Higgs at TH Baker. I truly believe we have delivered a fabulous, stand out store for Chesterfield.”
The new store features 120sqm of premium retail space including 12 linear meters of window display. The first floor houses office facilities and a workshop for on-site bespoke work. In the main store, walls are painted in a natural warm stone tone and are contrasted by silvered damask wallpaper.
Luxurious accents of leather and velvet upholstery are set against a truffle perimeter carpet and a lime-washed central oak floor. Glittering chandeliers add elegance both in the main store and in the private consultation room. Architectural details such as the individual brand display bays are framed by polished chrome edge details, which together with numerous mirrors, adds to the overall sense of glamour Dimmick wanted to create.
Figures for Green + Benz show a 68% overall growth in prior year sales results in the month of December alone.
