GoJD calling for entries from all disciplines for autumn selling show.
The Guild of Jewellery Designers (GoJD) is set to host an exhibition this autumn, calling for entries across a range of disciplines including jewellery design, silversmithing, goldsmithing and from designer makers using a variety of materials.
The one-day showcase will offer designers a chance to sell their work to the public. It will be held at the Waterhall at the Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery on November 23.
The GoJD said visitors to its recent March exhibition commented on the wide array of jewellery on display and the advantage of being able to meet with the jewellery makers themselves, hearing about their inspirations and work first-hand.
A statement from the GoJD said: "We are aiming to present an outstanding array of contemporary jewellery to the public and plan to include one or two stands of work from graduating UK students. Jewellers will be chosen for their innovation, creativity and workmanship."
The Guild is offering stands for £70, with a 10% discount offered to its Gold members.
