Hallmarking up 13% in November 2015

Hallmarking figures compiled by Assay Office Birmingham for November 2015 show an increase in items assayed across all metals compared to the same period in 2014. 

The number of units hallmarked by the four UK Assay Offices in November 2015 is up by 13% on November 2014.

Gold articles hallmarked were up 11.1%, silver articles up 14.8%, platinum up 22.0%. and palladium 16.2%.
