Harout R scoops Platinum Guild buyers’ award

Innovative bridal collection wins big at Las Vegas show.

Diamond bridal brand Harout R scooped the Platinum Guild’s Buyers’ Choice Award at the recent Las Vegas jewellery shows following its re-launch in the US and entry in to the UK market.

The gold and platinum brand uses a peg head system that allows retailers to show customers how different setting featuring a variet of diamond cuts and carat weights can fit flush with various styles of shank. The designs can then be soldered or made up to order to suit clients’ budgets and style preferences.

Harout R was created by Harout Aghjayan and is solely marketed by IDD across the USA and Canada. It is exclusively marketed it in Europe and the UK by Mireya Diamonds. The brand said it was pleased with the amount of positive feedback it had received in Las Vegas and was looking forward to working with more independent retailers.

The Harout R brand has focused on improving its price structure, offering in the peg head system to improve in-store selling, and has increased its consumer-facing marketing.

Harout R will be shown at the CMJ buyers’ meeting in August at the Mireya Diamonds stand. Mireya is also in the process of upgrading its B2B website to offer its various products in one place.
