Designer increases size of its Clipper watch to fashionable 44mm.
Hermès is embracing the trend for larger watches by increasing the maximum size of its Clipper mechanical chronograph to a 44mm case.
To ensure the watch remains comfortable to wear, the case has been made from titanium, a material lighter and more powerful than steel that is often used in competitive sailing due to weight to strength and resilience ratio.
The watch features a mechanical self-winding chronograph with 13 1/4-lignes Valjoux calibre and 46-hour power reserve.
Joining matt black and orange versions of the watch is a warm brown coloured strap.
Additional models in the collection feature gem-setting, engraving, rotating bezels and gold studs in cases of steel and yellow gold, or steel and rose gold.
The Clipper range that will be shown at BaselWorld will include the Clipper 44-Millimetre Mechanical Chronograph; Clipper 36-Millimetre Chronograph; Clipper 39.5-Millimetre Automatic; Clipper 28 Or 24-Millimetre.
