High demand drives Shen London to place piercing range online

Following the successful launch of Shen London’s debut diamond piercing collection in collaboration with Nichola Joss last month, the fine jewellery house has expanded its luxury buying service to online.

To meet the collection’s early demand, the Shen London for Nichola Joss offering is now available to buy from the Shen London website.

“We want to make the jewellery as accessible as possible for our domestic and international clientele, so we have made the easy decision to make the full range available to purchase via the website,” comments Shen London founder and creative director, Sheena Gill.

She continues: “Some of our customers want to own and enjoy the jewellery but are unable to make the journey to London or New York to get pierced, so to avoid isolating our valued clientele we are providing a service whereby customers can purchase the pieces to wear in existing piercings or they can simply buy them in advance of getting pierced.”

Some of the collection;s designs, such as the Flora Single Open, have already sold out. The company says it is working hard to replenish stock at the earliest opportunity.

For consumers buying from London or visiting the City, every piece purchased online carries a free piecing by Rhianna Jones, Nichola’s in-house piercing specialist at the Good Vibes Studio in Covent Garden.

Shen London for Nichola Joss is set to surpass any other traditional piercing product due to the quality, consistency and cutting of the stones. Only D/E colour, VS+ clarity diamonds of triple excellent cut qualify for use – a criteria asserted by Shen London’s chief gemmologist and director Marie Chalmers who hand-selects and approves every gemstone.
