Pippa Small is not only a talented jewellery designer, she is also an intrepid explorer and has a genuine passion for helping those in need.
The founding of her jewellery-making project Turquoise Mountain, which supports communities in Afghanistan, is the culmination of these three passions and it has been extended this year with the launch of a diffusion line.
The 73 new designs added to the Turquoise Mountain range this year include silver-plated gold jewels set with lapis lazuli and tiger’s eye. These new jewels carry lower prices, with the entry-level design a Ramz ring set with tiger’s eye that retails for £140.
The most expensive piece in the collection is the Taj necklace set with lapis lazuli that has a price tag of £715.
“In supporting Turquoise Mountain you are helping to train and employ young women and men and give them a hope for the future,” says Small.
