Gecko-owned men’s jewellery brand Fred Bennett has been growing and presented new collections at IJL this year.
The latest lines have all the manly hallmarks of a solid commercial men’s collection – plaited leather bracelets, dog tags, muted palettes, industrial design influences – and carry competitive price tags for both the silver and stainless steel designs.
However, the new ranges also threw up some surprises, such as the introduction of Fred Bennett’s first ever collection of signet rings. The rings made an appearance in a number of collections, including the Evolved Classics line of silver that the brand describes as combining simplicity and substance.
There is also a very on-trend geometric theme running through the collection, with two-tone cufflinks split between gold-plated and plain polished silver angled triangles, and a double-banded cuff and matching ring that the team at Fred Bennett describe as “effortless to wear”.
