Consumer passion for coloured gemstones has completely revolutionised the jewellery industry in the past few years, turning once achromatic window displays into riots of colour.
This demand for coloured stones has been strong in the bridal market too, and while much of the focus has been on engagement rings set with coloured stones such as sapphires, rubies and emeralds, there is also a trend for more colourful wedding bands.
Brown & Newirth has been catering for this shopper with its collection of channel-set wedding bands that alternate diamonds with coloured gemstones such as rubies. It has also recently been experimenting with colour for men, through adding enamel to Celtic-inspired bands. As with all Brown & Newirth rings, these colourful gemset bands have been crafted at its workshop just outside London.
