Silver jewellery retailer to launch wholesale line at Spring Fair
Somerset-based Hiho Silver will launch its first-ever wholesale range at The Jewellery Show at Spring Fair.
The jewellery designer and retailer’s range will include four capsule collections, based on a taste for the best things in life, with RRPs from £29.
The Best of British collection continues the trend for British nostalgia and all things London, with iconic designs including red telephone boxes and London buses. The collection will also include gemstones in red, white and blue in homage to the colours of the union flag – a widespread trend which is set to continue through 2011.
The Best of Friends range also continues a must-have trend, this time focused on silken friendship bracelets. Adding a precious edge with gemstones such as sapphires and emeralds, Hiho are potentially branching out to women who want desirable, stylist friendship bracelets.
The third collection takes the punchy colours of summer as its base. Titled Best of Gems the range includes smooth semi-precious bead bracelets in peridot, amethyst, ruby and blue topaz, said to "evoke memories of hot summer sun."
The final collection, Country Best, is Hiho’s play on all things equestrian, a theme the company has long fed into its collection. Country Best will introduce new horse themed designs including snaffle earrings and a multi-charm silver necklace.
Andrew Ransford, managing director of Hiho, said: "We‘ve always had enquiries about wholesaling which is why we’ve developed these capsule collections combining best-sellers and Hiho exclusives. Our retailing expertise means that we can offer commercial pieces that look great on the shelf and will delight customers."
With a nod to the future, Ransford added: "We’re already talking to a number of larger independents and small chains but we’d be happy to investigate possibilities with bigger retailers too."
