Birmingham-based jewellery manufacturer Hockley Mint will now offer retailers the option to have wedding bands made in ‘pure’ gold and platinum.
Hockley Mint will be the exclusive UK supplier of a new range of ‘pure’ wedding rings, which are hallmarked at 999, meaning this it is made from a pure metal rather than any sort of alloy.
The new collection, which will be unveiled at the upcoming Jewellery & Watch show, celebrates the beauty of gold and platinum in their purest forms.
Gary Wroe, managing director of Hockley Mint, explains: “This new product launch is an exciting opportunity for us and our customers, which in turn offers consumers true value and quality product. Offering customers ‘pure’ gold and platinum rings that are stamped 999 is a real selling feature for retailers, and avoids any potential confusion for consumers about what exactly they are buying.”
The metal will be offered as an additional option for plain wedding rings, while existing product profiles and widths will be available to order in 999.
This year marks Hockley Mints 25th anniversary in business. The company has lots of plans to celebrate, including the launch of a new 56-piece collection of classic diamond-set rings at Jewellery & Watch.
