More than 500 guests to attend largest event in Academy’s history.
Holts Academy of Jewellery will host an awards ceremony next month to celebrate its graduates from the past decade and beyond, as the school reaches its 13th anniversary.
The awards will be the largest that Holts Academy has ever hosted, with more than 500 guests expected to attend London’s Guildhall for the celebration on May 7.
Holts Academy said the awards will serve as chance to a celebrate the graduates and students of the academy, many of whom have gone on to launch their own brands or work for other UK jewellery companies. The Guildhall will also house an exhibition of students’ work on the awards night.
Lee Lucas, principal of the Academy, said: “With the launch of a new curriculum, a national apprenticeship scheme, retail jewellery training and a host of other new exciting initiatives, the event will celebrate our heritage and look to the future all at once.
"I’m delighted that there is so much to celebrate and with a stunning display of student, graduate and apprentice work on show it will be an event to be seen as well as to be seen at."
The Holts Academy awards are being supported by CCSkills, Brown & Newirth, as well as the Corporation of London.
