QVC’s jewellery business is booming thanks to the hard work and talent of Jo, Joanna and Mary.
The powerful trio have worked with the talented team at QVC to revive and refresh the company’s jewellery offer; impressing long-standing customers and attracting new ones as a result. Joanna says: “Customers are flocking to the jewellery shows on TV and to the redesigned pages on qvcuk.com. Jewellery is now back where it had been traditionally – at the centre of the business – and it is drawing in new customers.”
The process of reviving QVC’s jewellery offer has provided some key lessons for the team, as Jo notes: “We mustn’t rest on our laurels, but continually enhance and innovate the customer experience to keep them engaged. We want to stay ahead of industry trends and strive to be a leader in the evolving digital world of retail.”
The last 18 months have also seen an exciting mix of jewellery collaborations with the likes of Julien Macdonald, Lisa Snowdon and Vogue’s jewellery editor Carol Woolton. Elsewhere, QVC has seen success with new brands including Bronzo Italia.
Mary says: “New on-air sets have been created for our television shows. We took on-board customer and brand feedback and they have been designed to really showcase both fashion and fine jewellery.”
Overall, the trio are most proud of the rising sales figures landing on their desks every day, as well as the changes that have been made to sets, quality assurance, fit and packaging. “We are so proud of everyone who was involved in implementing all the changes. And we have to thank our customers who were at the heart of these changes as they gave us the insight into how they shop and how we could improve their shopping experience with us; from redesigning the web pages through to more editorial content. It is just so satisfying to see customers flocking to our TV shows and our website,” Joanna enthuses.
