Sarah is delighted that her team’s achievements have been recognised for what has been a very busy year for the Goldsmiths jewellery team.
“We launched our new Goldsmiths jewellery collections in August last year after an enormous amount of hard work and product development by my team,” she says. New collections have been particularly important for Goldsmiths, representing a re-focussed offer with an emphasis on quality, exclusivity and a greater choice for the retailer’s customer base. Of course, this was all timed with a complete brand overhaul for Goldsmiths, including a new colour scheme, fresh strapline and plenty of eye-catching lifestyle images.
Sarah’s energy has been focused on continuing this positive momentum in recent months, especially when it comes to working with suppliers and manufacturers. She says: “We’ve had tremendous success with many of the new collections and have been on full-speed ahead in 2015, maximising those successes and building on particularly strong areas for the year ahead.”
Sarah has worked particularly hard on Goldsmiths’ classic diamond pieces, resulting in an array of design-led diamond collections, coloured gemstones and strong pearl, silver and gold ranges. She explains: “Working in partnership with product experts and some great UK based companies, particularly on our wedding categories, has meant a real positive change in the way we source product, and in the quality of our offer. We hear great feedback from our stores and our customers every week; it’s hugely rewarding for us.”
Sarah moved from London to join the Aurum Holdings team in the Midlands two years ago, and it’s a decision she’s never once regretted. “I chose to be photographed at our house. I tell people I live in the middle of a fi eld now, and compared to South London it’s true!” she jokes.
