February 2015 was a particularly exciting time for Keith and Max Newlan, who could finally open the doors on their rebranded boutique in St Albans.

Specialising in its own bespoke creations and branded jewels by the likes of Thomas Sabo, Swarovski and Carat*, Kings Hill Jewellery is a key player in the Hertfordshire-city and one that is gaining new fans thanks to fresh advertising and celebrity events.

Max says: “The new relaunch and rebrand has made space for our in-house designer to be on the shop floor and interact with customers more freely. This is helping us realise our aim of bringing bespoke jewellery to a whole range of customers that would not have considered this service before.”

He continues: “I have been most proud of our recent collection launches; we have created a range of jewellery collections that we have designed and made ourselves. We have taken inspiration from our city and landmarks such as the Cathedral and these collections have been very well received.”

Over the next 12 months, the father and son duo will encourage more of their branded jewellery clients to explore Kings Hill’s vintage collection and bespoke services, while continuing to support the local area where they’ve been for more than a decade.

Outside of work, you’ll find Max and Keith taking their “highly modified Land Rover” to some off-road sites in the countryside — one such pit-stop provided the perfect spot for their Hot 100 picture.
