The past couple of years have certainly been pivotal in Andrew Lewis’s career. Having been promoted from brand manager to head of international sales at the end of 2014, he is now responsible for the management of all international (and some national) business for Hot Diamonds Group.
Stepping into the role has been a learning curve for Andrew, but it’s a challenge he relishes – and enjoys. “I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved. It proves that if you work hard and dedicate a lot of time and effort to something you’re passionate about in life, then you will be rewarded!” he smiles.
The promotion was also a strategic one for the company, allowing it to focus on taking all three of its jewellery brands into new markets across the globe.
Just recently, the team succeeded in developing a direct relationship with a key customer in Australia. That customer now stocks both Hot Diamonds and Emozioni in over 70 stores throughout the country, and advanced talks are currently underway about the company’s new jewellery brand, ‘Anais’, which the team is expecting to be a big hit in the jewellery industry.
“We have a clear and concise plan for developing the business in the future,” Andrew affirms, “so we are just starting to action this and hope to see the benefits in the forthcoming months.” Just like his beloved Manchester United, he hopes the business will romp to victory and take plenty of prizes in the year ahead!
