James Rice, sales and marketing director, said: “When we opened our first Luxe by Hugh Rice store in Beverley in 2015, we’d always hoped we would be able to do the same in our hometown.

“I’m so pleased we’ve been able to make that ambition a reality, I feel we’ve created a really unique and exclusive space for our existing customers to feel at home, and a fantastic destination for new shoppers to discover.”

The new store is situated opposite the longstanding store and is decked out with floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary chandeliers.

Hugh Rice was established in 1971 and has stores in East Yorkshire, stocking jewellery from Chopard, Messika, Astley Clarke and its own range of diamond jewellery.
