I Love a Lassie sees sales triple in bumper year

I Love a Lassie

Designer jewellery brand I Love a Lassie has reported a strong start to 2015 thanks to the continuing support of its stockists and a positive showing at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham.

In the last 12 months, sales have grown threefold at the company, with director and co-founder Lisa McMyn accrediting this to 12 new stockists including the British Museum, the Sara Preisler Gallery in Birmingham and McCarthy’s in Ireland.

McMyn has also praised the continuing loyalty and support of the brand’s existing stockists, including Clifton Rocks, Dower & Hall, Element Jewellery, Green + Benz, ST Hopper and Wink, that have all placed repeat orders in recent weeks.

I Love a Lassie presented designs from across its six core collections at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham, including its edgier Hard-Wear pieces which proved particularly popular with buyers and retailers.

McMyn commented: “What a difference a year makes. This time last year, no-one had heard of us but this year, it felt more like catching up with old friends.

“We may be known for our Antique Lace and Bird’s Nest designs but our stockists clearly enjoyed getting to know our darker side. The Hex Nuts necklace and Nail rings have been going down a treat.”
