The show unveils its roll call of must-see brands and products.
With International Jewellery London only a week and a half away, meet the must-see designer brands that will flank the central Boulevard at the show, and the exciting new collections of jewellery for autumn/winter and beyond.
On the Central Boulevard
Aagaard and Kranz & Ziegler will be central to the Boulevard, with a strong focus on Danish design, craftsmanship and individuality. Aagaard will show its Lovelinks, Petite, Blog and Men’s Jewellery, while Kranz & Ziegler will review new designs in its Story collection. Aagaard will also unveil From Soldier to Soldier – a fashion-led woven bracelet of which the proceeds go towards Help for Heroes.
With a new line of stacking rings and an 18ct gold collection in yellow and white gold, Dower & Hall will showcase a number of new lines. Its Memento collection of scripted silver and gold jewellery which pays homage to love. Stand G78
Statement watch brand Storm will show an extensive range of new watch designs at IJL, including pieces made using ceramic, colourful LED lights and Swarosvki crystals. Stand G95
Gecko is celebrating 20 years in the jewellery business this year and it will launch several new lines at IJL with a focus on everything from Amethyst cabochon gemstones to hummingbirds, crystals, costume jewellery and steel men’s jewellery. The brand will also unveil a price-beating silver collection as part of its Basics range. Stand F31
Award-winning jewellery brand Missoma, known for its colourful gemstone and gold vermeil talismanic pieces will offer a striking collection at UHL, with everything from evil eye pendants to the brand’s new Hex collection of rings, cuffs and earrings. The brand is about affordable luxury, with its use of gemstones and unusual design. Stand H18
Chamilia, predominantly known for itd beaded jewellery, will be using the show as an opportunity to launch new collections and merchandising equipment. The newest range, Sojourn, promises an exciting new direction for the brand, which aims to refresh and invigorate the personalised accessory market. Stand F121, E121
London Road, the distinctive gold jewellery brand which launched nationally last September, will attend IJL with its Black Diamond Tassel collection and Willow range, a new pearl collection created exclusively for London Road by designer Hannah Bedford. The London Road collections are affordably priced to fill the void between branded silver and more traditional 18ct gold, diamond and gem-set jewellery. Stand G141
PJ Watson is one of the few companies who have exhibited at nearly every IJL show since it began. It traditional British craftsmanship is applied to rare and interesting gems to create a collection of jewellery perfect for discerning retailers after fine quality, luxury jewels. Stand G111
This year G McKenzie will be exhibiting new ranges and products within the brands Virtue, White Ice, Seven and LifeRoxx as well as our McKenzie unbranded silver and semi-precious stone collections. All of the new products were chosen to strengthen the existing lines and continue to cement our place within the market. There will be something for everyone in the new collections. Stand F41
Prism Design will focus on two distinctive brands at this year’s show. Contour Shaped Wedding Rings will be showcasing sculptural, close fitting wedding and engagement rings featured in platinum and diamonds. Ti2 Titanium will be showing its new versatile point-of-sale display package plus new pendant and ring designs for men and an exciting new look in titanium, for women. Stand F39
Showing just on time for the pearl trend that is sweeping jewellery design, Euro Pearls will be showcasing three distinct brands at IJL for the very first time, including its silver and freshwater pearl Perlissimo collection of contemporary jewellery designs. Stand G41
IDJC jewellery will bring a collection of more than 3,000 one-off rings to IJL, alongside a collection of matching earrings and pedants, all made in-house using coloured gemstoens from IDJC’s workshop in Hattong Garden. Likewise, diamond company Bass Premier will showcase some striking loose diamonds, cut and polished in the company’s own workshop in Tel Aviv. Both on Stand G101
Highlights and exhibitors in the Designer Brands area
It has been a very busy year for Rachel Galley Jewellery, with Galley winning new accolades and launching another successful collection. She will use her appearance at IJL to expand on her collections, with new additions to her Memento Globe and Enkai Sun lines. Stand B60
Sarah Jordan is offering the chance for retailers to collaborate with her in a high-end bespoke engagement and wedding ring design service, to create one off rings uniquely tailored to customers. Jordan will ensure the designs have her modern styling and flair. Stand C61
Following his seminar on the topic which he will cover at the show, Brighton-based designer Jeremy Hoye plans to launch three new collections as well as a new collection produced for EA Sports’ Sims3 game as part of an interesting collaboration with video gaming.
