IJL teams up with TJF Group

TJF will present two seminars at this year’s event.

 IJL has announced that international trends organisation Trends Jewellery Forecasting Group (TJF) will be its international media partner for this year’s show.

TJF, with offices in Milan, Antwerp, Mumbai and Hong Kong, offers trends and brand consultancy for the international jewellery, watch and accessories sectors. As part of the IJL partnership, TJF creative director and co-founder Paola Deluca will be presenting two keynote seminars at the event.

The first seminar will focus on ‘Buying Directions,’ which will provide an update of some of the current trends, with a snapshot preview of the trends that will be shaping the next eighteen months.

The second will be a forecasting session on the mega trends that will be coming through in 2012, which will form the focus of the TJF Trend Book series for 2012.

IJL acting event manager Sam Willoughby said: “As the leading event in the jewellery calendar, this partnership with TJF further underlines our commitment to ensuring that IJL provides the definite trends showcase for the industry. We are delighted to be associated with such a widely renowned international trends agency, who will give visitors and exhibitors an unique insight into international trends”.

TFJ Group UK brand manager Ash Allibhai added: “As the mainstay event in the jewellery and watch buying calendar, this is a logical partnership for TJF. We regard IJL as a ‘must visit’ destination to view the up and coming trends and stories that will be shaping the jewellery and watch world in 2011 and beyond”.

The seminars will take place on Tuesday September 7 (Buyers Directions – Update Seasons 2011 and Preview 2012+: 4pm – 5pm) and Wednesday September 8 (Forecast 2010+ for Manufacturers, Buyers and Designers: 10.30am – 11.30am).
