IJL to run London and Birmingham bus services

IJL will run a free bus service from the Jewellery Quarter and Hatton Garden to the show at Earls Court.

Show lays on free transport to Earls Court with support from NAG.

International Jewellery London (IJL) will once again run a complimentary bus service from Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and Hatton Garden during this year’s trade show.

The free transport service will travel from the jewellery districts on Sunday and Monday to help bring visitors from key jewellery retail regions to the show.

IJL event director Sam Willoughby said: “We understand that independent retailers generally work either alone or with a very small staff, so when it comes to taking time out to refresh their stock offering time management is key. This is why we have chosen to run the service from Birmingham on a Sunday, when independents generally shut up shop and have the time to travel down to London. We are also pleased to announce that the initiative has the continued support of the National Association of Goldsmiths.”
