IJL welcomes new marketing executive to team

Stacy Simpson will contribute to the show’s marketing activities.

International Jewellery London (IJL) has announced the arrival of a new marketing executive, Stacy Simpson.

Simpson has a background in the jewellery industry having worked as communications officer at the National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) for four and a half years. She joins the IJL team ahead of the 2012 show.

Simpson said: “I am extremely excited about the challenge my new role will bring.

"Having prior knowledge of the jewellery industry, I hope I can utilise this within my new role and relate to the issues affecting the industry as a whole."

Simpson added that, having attended the show for a number of years, she still "gets a buzz" at how the event all comes together over a few days.

She will contribute to a wide variety of marketing activities in her new role.

IJL’s marketing manager Sarah Kitley said: “We are thrilled that Stacy is joining the IJL team. She knows the jewellery industry well, and is passionate about this sector, so she will fit in well with the enthusiastic team."

Kitley added that the 2012 show is set to be "outstanding".
