iKuria tackles UK market with new sales agent

Sakura Yamamoto appointed sole agent for UK effective immediately.

London-based fine jewellery brand, iKuria, has appointed Sakura Yamamoto as its sole agent in the UK domestic market as part of a fresh expansion plan.

Yamamoto, who has many years of experience as a sales agent for jewellery and luxury goods, will represent iKuria in the UK initially, although this could be expanded to include overseas territories in the future.

iKuria founder Ikuko Kurahone commented: “My brand has been growing domestically and internationally at a faster pace than I had anticipated at the launch of iKuria as a one-woman limited company in 2012. I realised it is high time to start working with a professional to look after our sales activity.”

“I am very fortunate to have become acquainted with an experienced sales agent like Sakura, who is knowledgeable about the luxury market and has amazing communication skills. She is already an integral part of iKuria and will increase the value of the brand.”

Yamamoto will look after iKuria’s existing stockists in London and help it to expand its sales activity in and beyond the capital.

Kurahone will continue to supervise the management of iKuria Limited, the design and production of the jewellery, and press relations.
