New luxury jewellery house Shen London launched its first collection this week at Claridge’s, unveiling decadent diamond pieces in its Goddess Collection.
The brainchild of creative director and founder, Sheena Gill, and renowned gemmologist and director, Marie Chalmers, the collection features sets named after goddesses including; Iris, the rainbow goddess, Hera, the goddess of marriage, and Gaia, the mother earth goddess.
The collection houses no lower than D-coloured diamonds, with VS+ clarity in order to “see a little bit of Mother Nature within the stones” and guarantee provenance and authenticity.
Gill founded Shen London Ltd having spent 25 years in the publishing and marketing industry. Over the years she has made her own jewellery pieces, travelling the world to buy emeralds, rubies, pearls, sapphires and aquamarines, enabling her to create her own extensive collection.
Marie has over 15 years experience working in the diamond industry and is one of the UK’s leading diamond experts. She has held positions in many international establishments such as head of diamond department for the world’s oldest diamond company Backes & Strauss, and diamond buyer for Signet.
Prices for individual pieces start from £2,860 to £35,560.
