Technology to help raise awareness of website with store customers.
Steffans is seeing positive returns from the introduction of iPads to its stores in Northampton and Market Harborough.
The iPads have been fixed into secure kiosk cases called Bouncepads that allows the technology to be operated by customers without staff supervision.
Steffans director Wes Suter said the iPads have been introduced to the stores as a way to publicise its website to existing shoppers who shop in store but are perhaps unfamiliar with its online business.
Suter said: “We’ve seen good usage on them; we can tell how many hours play they get. A lot of our store users still don’t know we have website.”
